Maggie
After 25 years in the retail trade I joined my daughter and daughter in law to set up Blandford Health & Beauty Centre in 2004.
I really enjoy meeting and greeting all of our lovely clients and helping them book their appointments. I will also be here to advise you on any purchases you would like to make with my 15+ years of experience with our brands. I take pride in keeping the reception and retail department running smoothly.
My favourite product is Decléor White Petal Concentrate because of it’s brightening effect on my skin. I also love Decléor Neroli Balm for it’s hydrating effect during the night.
Sam
After completing my training at Bournemouth College over 20 years ago I worked in several salons and spa’s using different skin care brands which I feel has really helped me make the right decision when choosing which brands to use within the salon. I then gained management experience whilst working in a Spa which is where I got my inspiration to run my own salon.
After working from my parent’s spare bedroom I very quickly became aware that I needed to get premises to work from which is where Blandford Health and Beauty Centre began. It was a family run business with my Mum and sister-in-law which again grew bigger than we ever imagined and we moved into the premises we’re in now with my wonderful Mum being my business partner.
After having my 2 children I decided to learn more about the business side of the salon but still manage to treat a handful of my regular clients. I love the holistic and traditional side of beauty and feel this is what I specialise in when making my clients feel completely pampered and de-stressed.
Amy
Amy joined the team in 2013 after qualifying from Yeovil College where she achieved NVQ Level 3 in Beauty Therapy and was also presented with Therapist of The Year for 2 years running.
Amy is extremely passionate about the beauty industry and takes pride in all aspects of her work. She is renowned for her attention to detail whilst carrying out treatments and has very a calm and friendly manner.
Amy say’s “I love listening to my clients needs and making a plan for them of various different treatments to suit their goals. Our facials Decléor, Environ and CACI are my favourite treatment to do as I love to see the change in clients skin. I like to help others feel good about themselves.”
Amy’s favourite product is the Environ Hydrating Oil Capsules, they are silky soft and leave the skin super hydrated and plump. She also love the Decleor night balms for their aromatherapy smells and well-being aspect of helping to aid sleep.
Lauren
Lauren joined Blandford Health and Beauty Centre in 2015. She quickly became a very valuable member of our team and is now extremely popular with our client’s.
Lauren qualified in 2013 after attending Bournemouth College where she achieved Level 3 in Beauty Therapy and was presented with Therapist of the year. She is extremely thorough and very particular within the treatments she carries out and the general day to day running of the salon.
Lauren say’s “I enjoy making my client’s look and feel great about themselves. I am especially confident in waxing, manicures and pedicures”.
Lauren’s favourite product is the Jane Iredale Pure Lash Conditioner as it helps to keep the lashes nice and healthy and strong in between lash lifting appointments. She also loves the CND Scensations hand cream as they smell amazing and leave hands lovely and soft.
Maxine
Maxine joined our team in 2009 after completing her training at Bournemouth College. She is another long standing member of our team.
Maxine is extremely passionate about her facial treatments with a natural love for anything Decléor or CACI. You will be in for treat when experiencing one of these with Maxine and with her kind and loving nature to welcome you, you’ll leave feeling completely de-stressed and nurtured.
Maxine say’s “I really enjoy seeing my regular client’s return and tailor making a treatment for them depending on what they feel they need on that day”.
Maxine loves the Decléor Neroli Night Balm as when she wakes up her skin is left feeling hydrated and plump.
Sarah
Beauty Therapist
Sarah trained at Bournemouth College and joined our team in 2010. She is another long standing member of our team.
Sarah’s calm and friendly personality rubs off on us all when working with her but it has also made her extremely popular with our clients over the years. It shows within her treatments and her clients always leave feeling relaxed and completely pampered.
Sarah say’s “I love doing facials and pedicures as I find the essential oils relax me as much as my clients when using them in the Decléor treatments”.
Sarah’s favourite products are anything Decléor due to them being so pure and natural. She feels the products help not only with the natural health and radiance of her skin but also with her general well-being.
Natalie
Natalie joined our team in the summer of 2019 and quickly became a very popular member of the team and with our clients.
Natalie trained at Bournemouth college and qualified to NVQ level 3. She is a very experienced therapist after previously working is spas over the last 7 years.
Her favourite product is the Green Mandarin Sun Kissed Glow moisturiser because of the instant glow it gives to her skin.
Natalie enjoys performing all the beauty treatments but particularly CACI facials and holistic treatments as she says “I like my clients to leave feeling happy and pampered.”
